Democrats chirped more avidly on Monday about giving Bergen County Democratic Committee Chairman Lou Stellato a senate hearing before the end of the month.

Some of those conversations spilled into the hallways.

Stellato wants to go to Sports and Expo, and state Senator Gerry Cardinale (R-39)  was the last stumbling block. A source today told InsiderNJ that Cardinale's finally on board, he just wanted to make sure - for political chops-busting purposes - that it didn't get done until the end of the month.

So that's the target now for the longstanding Bergen County Democratic Chairman, whose successor to lead the [bubbleAutoLink text="party organization" id="26579"] of the massive North Jersey county will be Paul Juliano.
