Bergen County Democratic Chairman Lou Stellato backs the reelection of Democratic State Party Chairman John Currie.

“Absolutely,” Stellato told InsiderNJ.

“Under his watch we’ve got a governor, 11 of 12 congressional seats, and complete control of Bergen,” Stellato said. “He is a guiding force. He is agreeable and acceptable to the very progressive and very conservative wins of the party. He is a unifier, and he is from the neighboring county. John Currie is an honorable and generous person who deserves to be reelected.

“What could possibly be the rap on him given the strong condition of the party right now?”
