State Senator M. Teresa Ruiz (D-29), who has deep roots in Puerto Rica, together with Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, North Ward Councilman Anibal Ramos, At-Large Councilman Luis Quintana and others, are sponsoring a Red Cross fundraiser for Hurricane Maria relief victims from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 8th at the Flamboyan Manor.
