TRENTON – Suspenders in place as he strode the gallery on his way into the Democratic caucus room, Senate President Steve Sweeney (D-3) just appeared following a meeting between himself, Governor Phil Murphy and Speaker Craig Coughlin.

“No, we talked, that’s all,” Sweeney told InsiderNJ. when asked if the trio produced anything tangible.

A second source with knowledge of the meeting, when asked if the conference produced anything substantive, said, “No, I don’t think so.”
