In Irvington, Team Irvington Strong led by Mayor Tony Vauss has unofficially won the contested South Ward race.

“The legacy continues,” Vauss told InsiderNJ.

Backed by the mayor and his team, Jamilliah Beasley defeated challenger Al-Tariq Shabazz in the South Ward.
