Thania Melo, Gary Schaer, Chaim Munk, Salim Patel Win Reelection to Passaic City Council
Team Passaic prevailed tonight in a low-turnout local contest.
In a five-way fight for four seats, the candidates affiliated with Mayor Hector Lora and Assemblyman Gary Schaer (D-36) won.
That’s Melo, Schaer, Munk and Patel.
Minaya, running on his own, lost.
“We have a good team,” the mayor told InsiderNJ.
