Testa Formally Endorses Van Drew for Re-Election

President Trump’s New Jersey Campaign State Co-Chair and Cumberland County Republican Chairman Senator Michael Testa Jr. released the following statement formally endorsing incumbent Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew for re-election to the United States House of Representatives.

“President Trump has called upon all New Jersey Republicans to join him in supporting Congressman Jeff Van Drew for re-election and I’m proud to answer his call,” said Senator Michael Testa Jr. “After President Trump’s clear and unequivocal endorsement you can not say you support President Trump without supporting Congressman Van Drew. It’s time for all South Jersey Republicans to unite behind our incumbent Republican Congressman as we work to re-elect President Trump in 2020.”

“Senator Testa was one of my first supporters after I decided to join the Republican Party and I’m excited to formally announce his endorsement today,” said Republican United States Congressman Jeff Van Drew. “Michael is a leader in every sense of the word and he is a proven winner, which is why his support is so critical to both me and President Trump.”

In addition to Senator Michael Testa Jr. in the last few days Congressman Van Drew has received the endorsement of Assemblyman Erik Simonsen, Assemblyman Antwan McClellan, Cape May County Republican Chairman Marcus Karavan, Cape May County Republican Vice Chair and Middle Township Mayor Tim Donohue, Cape May County Freeholder Director Jerry Thornton, Cape May County Freeholder Vice-Director Len Desiderio, Cape May County Freeholder Will Morey, Cape May County Freeholder Marie Hayes, Cape May County Freeholder Jeff Pierson, Cape May County Clerk Rita Fulginiti, and Cape May County Sheriff Bob Nolan from the 1st Legislative District with more endorsements expected to be announced in the coming days.
