The Red Wave

Bedlam at the U.S. Capitol.

The pre-election narrative about the “Red Tsunami” had Democrats losing everything including their car keys. How did that perspective become “common knowledge?”

The “mainstream” media walked into a redneck bar and mistook the line-dancing, beer guzzling patrons as America. Fox and Sinclair had “reserved for” tables, which should have made mainstream uncomfortable, but it didn’t.

The pundits paid no attention to the audiences at school plays and concerts, little league games and community potluck suppers. They ignored the canvassers who knocked on 10’s of thousands of doors, made millions of phone calls and sent out 10’s of millions of texts.   They made hardened pronouncements on future events, smug in the knowledge that other talking heads agreed with them; untroubled by the fact that the elections they were so specifically pontificating about, hadn’t happened yet.   They listened to themselves; smug, arrogant commentators on a topic they know little about.

The news desks absorbed the propaganda points and even the New York Times and Star Ledger ran pieces speculating about the Republican agenda once McConnell and McCarthy had picked up the gavels.

They were wrong.  By being so far off the mark, they further damaged the credibility of Journalism.

In reference to the pundits, as departed House Speaker Sam Rayburn said about JFK’s cabinet, “I’d feel a whole lot better about them if just one of them had run for sheriff once.”

They got it wrong for many reasons, but mainly because, in spite of all the verbiage, they do not understand politics.  The talking heads pontificate daily and often have a great deal of specific information, but seldom offer understanding or wisdom. They focused on issues that were not the public’s priorities and drilled down on material without real meaning. They harped on the “ruin” of the US Economy with an unemployment rate of 3.7%.  Yes, inflation was up, but that didn’t bother consumers who continued to buy gasoline, crowding the highways, and luxury goods crowding their closets.

Crime is down overall, but homicides are up in certain areas so the Republican argument that thugs with assault rifles and knives were waiting outside our doors didn’t resonate, but still crime often led TV “news.”  The rule for TV has always been, “if it bleeds, it leads.”

The impact of rescinding Roe v Wade was talked about but not really understood.  The reaction of suburban married women, who don’t give voice to political opinion often, was missed completely.

The media tends to seek out negative stories as part of the daily coverage and over the past couple of years amplified the Republican talking points and turned them into the “red wave.”

The crushing Red victory never came about because what was covered on Tv, Social media, radio and newspapers was mostly Republican propaganda picked up by traditional media and pushed heavily by Fox and Sinclair. A slim majority of the American people had their fill and made rational choices.

  1. Every poll in the country showed a gigantic GOP landslide victory- ranging from red wave, to red tsunami. Polls even showed women moved 32 points from September to October in favor of the GOP.

But in the end they all moved back to Biden and Democrats? Does that make sense to you?

Second, every poll in the country showed the top two issues, by a mile, were inflation and the economy. And crime was in second place, along with open borders.

And they all voted for Biden and the Democrats? Does that make sense to you?

CNN’s own exit polls showed the GOP made massive gains among almost every voting group- men, women, white men, white women, blacks, Hispanics, young people. Everyone.

And they all voted for Biden and the Democrats? Does that make sense to you?

In this environment where Americans can’t afford gas…or groceries…or rent…with the economy failing…inflation raging…scared to death of losing their jobs…living in cities plagued by violent crime, mass shoplifting, homeless everywhere, streets lined with poop, pee, drug needles…and failing schools intent on teaching your children to become masked transgenders…

In this environment, they all voted for Biden and the Democrats? Does that make sense to you?

That they looked around at the disaster one man has created in only two years, and they defied a century of historic midterm defeats for the party in power…and voted for Democrats?Folks, you’ve been gaslighted.

But the real proof the midterm was rigged and stolen is…FLORIDA.

In Florida the GOP won a landslide. DeSantis and Rubio and everyone else in the Florida GOP won in a red tsunami. The same one the polls showed was happening in the entire country.

Guess what Florida has? Florida has strict Voter ID, strict laws against voter fraud, severe prison terms for anyone caught trying to commit voter fraud, no mail-in ballots sent to every voter, no ballot drop boxes, no ballot harvesting, no ballots accepted for days after Election Day, no counting for days until the desired result is achieved by the Democrat Party.

Isn’t it a funny and strange coincidence that in that state, with all of those strict rules against cheating, the GOP red tsunami happened as predicted? But everywhere else, where there are no strict laws against voter fraud, and they allow all that cheating, the red tsunami fizzled.

And that under-performance is being blamed on Trump? And on conservative MAGA candidates?

Yet in Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis is the most Trump-like, MAGA, America First, anti-woke, anti-trannie, in-your-face, ultra conservative politician in all of America. And with that ultra MAGA message, plus strict voting fraud laws…the GOP swept to a landslide victory.

And in most other places, they didn’t. Coincidence?

Folks, we’ve been robbed. Again. This was a repeat of 2020. They’ve fixed, rigged and stolen the election. First, they robbed us of the Presidency. Now they’ve robbed us of a red Republican landslide. And now they’re trying to blame it on Trump.

We’ve been gaslighted and had our election stolen–AGAIN!!!!!

  2. The only thieives are Republicans. In their iconography they can only win; a Republican loss can only be by theft. MAGA R’s are merely vote thieves. DeSantis merely won a ge=ymandered state. Florida discounts Democratic votes.
