Traier Issues a Warning to Fellow Republicans in LD40
Passaic County GOP Chairman John Traier has staked his leadership position on the LD40 contest, issuing a hard-hitting late mail piece against Passaic County Clerk Kristin Corrado.
Corrado is running against Bergen County GOP Chairman Paul DiGaetano for the senate seat being vacated by state Senator Kevin O’Toole (R-40).
Corrado has the line in Passaic, but she doesn’t have the chairman’s support, said Traier, who expressed worry about the empowement through Corrado of former Passaic County Republican Chairman Peter Murphy, who went to the can on mail fruad charges.
