LONG BRANCH - Excitement already and today’s Monmouth County Democratic convention hasn’t even started.

The street scene outside the meeting hall includes supporters of both Tammy Murphy and Andy Kim - no surprise there.

But there also are about 50 flag waving Palestinian supporters.

The group chanted in favor of a ceasefire and condemned both Murphy and Kim for backing “genocide.”

Police are on hand to maintain decorum.
