Republican women gathered at Bob Hugin’s Summit home Monday evening to express support for the candidate and to help him in his general election bid to dethrone U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ).

Former state Senator Diane Allen (R-7) was among those in attendance, according to a souce with knowledge of the event.

At the meeting, Hugin and his supporters discussed a plan to enlist a woman campaign chairperson for each of New Jersey’s 21 counties as the Republican statewide hopeful endeavors to specifically connect with women voters.
