Woodbridge First Ward Councilwoman Nancy Drumm has died.

From her husband Hugh Drumm on her Facebook page:

“Nancy was the love of my life! I was truly blessed to have her as my wife for over 33 years. I knew I wanted to marry her the moment we met in Hampton Bays. Nancy’s smile and sparkling personality were magical. She was beautiful inside and out. Always selfless and putting others concerns first. She loved her family and friends, loved representing the first ward on town council, and loved Woodbridge Township. She will truly be missed by everyone she touched. Nancy made everyone feel like they were her best friend. I was proud to be her husband. I always told everyone I was the luckiest guy walking and I truly meant it! We made a beautiful family and life together. Nancy was fun loving and always wanted to maximize the joy of life all the time. Today my heart is broken, but I thank God every day for the time we shared together. Rest In Peace my love.”

Angelica Lynch posted:

“Nancy Drumm was one of our biggest community supporters in Girl Scouting. She was a firm believer that everyone was equal and women should support other women in anything they set out to accomplish. I didn’t know her as well as I would have liked. We always think we have more time with people and then we don’t. GSCSNJ Troop 80060 sends our condolences to entire Drumm family and all who were made better by knowing Nancy!”

The director of the Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce, Councilwoman Drumm was reelected to the council last year.
