Today the Association of Former New Jersey State Troopers, who represent the 2,000 former state troopers and their families, announced their endorsement of Jack Ciattarelli citing his commitment to restoring COLA.
"Jack's plan to fund the COLA is of vital importance, While the cost-of-living has certainly increased substantially since 2011, our dedicated public service employee-retirees have shouldered these skyrocketing costs with no COLA for the last fourteen-years. Enough is enough!" said Association President George Wren. "Jack's common-sense approach to those concerns most important to the law enforcement community and first responders was refreshing and impressive. We're proud to announce our endorsement of Jack Ciattarelli as the next Governor of the State of New Jersey!"
"These law enforcement officials protected us for years and it's only right we're there for them when they retire. As Governor, I will restore their COLA and do right by our commitment," said Jack Ciattrelli. "I'm honored to have this endorsement and the ongoing support of our law enforcement community as we work hard to win this race and deliver real change for our state."
