Essex County Freeholder Rolando Bobadilla will not run for reelection.

“I’m announcing today that I will not be running for reelection as District 1 Essex County Freeholder,” the Newark North Warder told InsiderNJ.

Bobadilla was first sworn-in to fill an unexpired term as District I Freeholder in September of 2011, elected to his first full term in November of 2011 and then re-elected in 2014.

He is currently employed as a Senior Administrator and Director of Human Resources at the North Ward Center, Inc., in Newark.
