Booker: 'We've Heard from Ciattarelli. He's a Trumper.'

NEWARK - Republican gubernatorial nominee Jack Ciattarelli this weekend complained about Mikie Sherrill pinning the blame for New Jersey dysfunction on Donald Trump. But U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) this morning at a roundtable discussion with community leaders said Ciattarelli's support for President Donald J. Trump is enormously significant in the developing contest for governor.
"We've heard from Ciattarelli. He's a Trumper. He's a Trump guy," Booker told InsiderNJ. "He supports the guy who's causing so much pain in our state, who's cutting hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars from New Jersey taxpayers. That's what Ciattarelli supports."
Sherrill, by contrast, is fighting to restore funding for healthcare and education.
