CD4 Flashpoint: Keady Campaign Heads to Trenton

Democrat Jim Keady lost the contest to acquire the three organization lines in the 4th Congressional District, but he’s moving forward today anyway on filing deadline day, in accord with the intentions he voiced last week after losing Mercer County to opponent Josh Welle.

“We are driving petitions down to Trenton shortly,” said Ryan Hughes, Keady’s campaign manager.

Welle (who received the Democratic Party lines in Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean) and Keady are competing for the Democratic nomination to go up against U.S. Rep. Chris SMith (R-4).
