Critchley Interfaces with Sweeney at the Statehouse

Carl Golden, senior contributing analyst with the William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy at Stockton University, argues that the U. S. Supreme Court’s decision to consider the appeal of Bridget Anne Kelly of her conviction in the Bridgegate scandal will be one of the most closely watched judicial proceedings in years.

He once regaled a roomful of insiders by observing – with a twinkle in his eye – that there are no political party members, just registered opportunists.

Today, attorney Michael Critchley and his team showed up at the Statehouse and made their way to the offices of Senate President Steve Sweeney (D-3) in preparation for the coming select legislative committee looking into the hiring practices by the Murphy Administration.

Critchley and Sweeney interfaced.

On the heels of charges made by Katie Brennan and other stories concerning Murphy Administration hiring practices, the senate majority office retained the noted attorney.

As for the actual select committee, it won’t start until after Oct. 29th.

But Critchley – as of today – is already engaged in the hallways of power.
