Former Mayor of Summit Glatt Endorses Bennett in CD-7

Today, former Mayor of Summit Jordan Glatt endorsed Rebecca Bennett, former Navy helicopter pilot, business leader, and mom of two to take on vulnerable Republican Congressman Tom Kean Jr. in New Jersey’s 7th congressional district. Rebecca’s campaign has already been endorsed by New Politics, VoteVets, Square One Politics, Vote Mama, and Taking the Hill PAC.
“Mayor Glatt and I are both commonsense, pragmatic leaders, and I’m proud to have his endorsement to serve Summit and New Jersey families in Congress,” said Rebecca Bennett. “Mayor Glatt knows how Tom Kean Jr.’s votes to increase our cost of living, gut Medicaid, raise health care premiums, and strip food assistance from thousands of our neighbors will impact families and our towns, and how important it is for us to flip this seat next November and actually deliver solutions for all of us who need them.”
“As a former Mayor I know how important it is to have your Congressperson available to your constituents and other elected officials,” says former Mayor of Summit, Jordan Glatt. “Rebecca Bennett will be that Congressperson.”
Rebecca Bennett is a former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot, officer in the Air National Guard, business leader in healthcare, and mom of two. Rebecca served in the Navy for over a decade as a helicopter pilot and aircraft commander. After serving her country for over fifteen years in the military and making waves in healthcare innovation, Rebecca is running for Congress to build a better future for our community. As a mom to two young girls, Rebecca understands first-hand the challenges of balancing work & family while navigating inflation and the rising cost of living.
