Greenstein Backs Brad Cohen for Congress in CD-12

State Senator Linda Greenstein (D-14) is endorsing East Brunswick Mayor Brad Cohen for Congress in CD-12, to succeed retiring U.S. Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman.

"I have had the opportunity to see Brad's leadership up close, and he represents what local public service is all about," Greenstein wrote in a letter. "As Mayor of East Brunswick, he has focused on the fundamentals - keeping his community safe, strengthening local services, supporting families, and making sure municipal government works for the people it serves. He understands that leadership isn't about headlines; it's about showing up, listening, and delivering results.

"At this critical moment, we also need leaders who are willing to stand up and speak out," Greenstein added. "The extremism we are seeing from Trump Republicans - attacks on democratic institutions, disregard for the rule of law, and policies that divide rather than unite - demand a strong and steady response. Brad is not someone who will sit on the sidelines. He understands what is at stake and is prepared to fight to protect our democracy and restore accountability in Washington.

"I am confident he will be a strong voice for NJ-12 in Congress. I encourage you to join me in supporting his campaign."

Mayor Cohen.
