If you’re a Republican in CD-11 who likes to golf, Rosemary Becchi has an offer for you.

The GOP congressional candidate is sponsoring a golf outing fundraiser this coming Monday (Aug. 31) at the Knoll Country Club in Lake Hiawatha. Cost ranges from $250 to $1,000 depending on your interests. A grand can get you such things as a lunch or “hole-in-one” sponsorship.

The Knoll has experience with this sort of thing.

For years, the late state Sen. Anthony R. Bucco held a golf fundraiser at the same location.

Becchi, who is seeking to oust Democrat Mikie Sherrill, certainly can use some campaign money.

Recent filings with the Federal Election Commission show Becchi with about $308,000 in cash on hand; Sherrill has about $3.4 million.
