BurlCo GOP Move HQ to Medford

After 50 years on High St., Mount Holly Burlington County Republicans no longer have a headquarters there. Moved to Medford today. Pinelands Plaza on Stokes Road (next to Papa John’s).
Moving out of the county seat highlights the party’s fall from power, a source cackled.
223 High street (pictured) was their HQ since 1971 when High Street Realty, an LLC controlled by GOP bosses, purchased the building from Albert Jones a former GOP Freeholder. Jones at one time lived in the building, which also housed his engineering firm. In addition to the County GOP headquarters and various law offices, the building was once the 8th District Legislative office to many lawmakers, including then-state Senator Jim Saxon. When the building was purchased out from under the GOP in 2019 by operative Jason Carty, the Republicans moved next door to a former law office. Today marks the end of 50 years on High Street for the BurlCo GOP.
