Former Trump Com. Dir. Spicer to Join Pappas for a Special Campaign Event

Sean Spicer, who served as communications director and press secretary for President Donald Trump, will campaign with fellow Republican Mike Pappas later this month.
Pappas is running for state senate against Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker (D-16).
Spicer and Pappas have a history, and the communications expert will join the candidate in Branchburg at the Fox Hollow Golf Club on Sunday, August 22nd for a special event beginning at 3:00 PM.
"Sean got his start as my first Press Secretary when I served as a U.S. Congressman," Pappas said in an email blast. "I'm honored that he'll be joining us back in Branchburg on Sunday."
Said Spicer:
"I am excited to be joining my former boss Mike Pappas in Branchburg on Sunday, August 22nd for an afternoon reception and discussion of my latest book, 'Leading America'. I hope you'll join us!
"Mike has served as Mayor, a U.S. Congressman in the House of Representatives, and as the Regional Administrator of the US Small Business Administration. He is uniquely qualified to serve New Jerseyans in the State Senate."
On July 21, 2017, Spicer announced his intention to resign as White House Press Secretary. ... According to The New York Times, Trump asked Spicer to stay on, but Spicer announced his resignation after telling the President he "vehemently disagreed" with the appointment of Anthony Scaramucci.
