Perth Amboy Councilman Fernando Irizarry, an unsuccessful candidate for mayor, last night on Facebook announced his support for incumbent Mayor Wilda Diaz over Helmin Caba in the Dec. 15th runoff election.

Irizarry joins Joel Pabon, who also ran for mayor and lost this year, in his support for Diaz.

A third candidate, Joe B. Vas, urged voters this week to oppose Caba.
