New Jersey Sees Record One-Day Increase of Over 6,000 New COVID-19 Cases

The state on Sunday reported a record one-day increase of 6,046 new COVID-19 cases since Saturday, as well as an additional 54 fatalities.

Governor Murphy tweeted that ‘these numbers speak for themselves’.

The statewide COVID-19 count stands at 368,016 cases and 15,485 fatalities (and 1,836 probable fatalities) as of Sunday; the viral transmission rate is 1.03.
