Paterson Third Ward Councilman Bill McKoy shrugged off the preliminary tallies (above) floating around ahead of a May 19th vote-count resumption in Passiac County. Totals of 964 votes show him down to challenger Alex Mendez, but those votes represent but a third of the roughly 3,000 votes cast in his ward. “I suspect these numbers will change drastically,” McKoy told InsiderNJ. “Those numbers are without context.” Context in this case is a word that in and of itself requires context, against the backdrop of an ongoing investigation into allegations of citywide voter fraud.
