Labor Leader Hall Backs Gill in CD-11

Charles N. Hall, respected labor leader and longtime advocate for working men and women across New Jersey, today announced his enthusiastic endorsement of Brendan Gill for Congress.

“Brendan Gill has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to fairness, opportunity, and economic justice,” said Hall. “He understands that the strength of our communities depends on the strength of our working families – and he’s never shied away from standing up for them. Our members want representatives who understand labor, and Brendan has proven with every vote he’s taken that he is that leader. Local 108 is proud to stand with Brendan because we know he’ll stand with us in Congress,” said Charles N. Hall Jr., President, RWDSU Local 108.

Hall, who has spent decades advancing workers’ rights and building partnerships across the public and private sectors, cited Gill’s record on job creation, affordable housing, and quality healthcare as defining reasons for his support.

“From his time in county government to his leadership in policy and community development, Brendan has proven that he not only listens – he acts,” Hall continued. “He brings integrity, experience, and compassion to the table, and that’s exactly what we need representing us in Washington.

Brendan Gill welcomed the endorsement, calling Hall “a tireless champion for labor, equity, and community empowerment.”

“Charles Hall has been a voice for working families for more than three decades,” said Gill. “I am honored to have his trust and support as we continue the fight to create pathways to the middle class, protect organized labor, and expand opportunity for every New Jerseyan.”

As the campaign moves forward, Hall said he will actively encourage labor union members and community partners to rally behind Gill’s congressional bid.

“Brendan represents the best of what public service should be – inclusive, principled, and rooted in real results,” Hall concluded. “He’s ready to fight for all of us, and I’m proud to stand with him.”
