Today, Make the Road Action New Jersey and the New Jersey Working Families Party — two of the state’s leading political advocacy organizations — launched a new radio ad against Rep. Tom Kean, Jr. as part of a six-figure campaign to unseat the Republican congressman in NJ-7, a critical swing seat that could decide which party controls Congress.

The ad, titled ‘Hot Stock Tip,’ slams Tom Kean, Jr. for making over 200 stock trades worth over $3 million while in office, including during his four-month absence. The radio ad is targeted to voters in Union County and is playing on digital streaming platforms like Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Amazon Music, and SiriusXM.

The two organizations are also helping get out the vote before November 3rd, telling voters to kick out Tom Kean, Jr. through a comprehensive field program, texting, and phone banking.

“Tom Kean has spent his time in Congress selling out working families to Donald Trump and his billionaire donors, all while getting rich from trading stocks. New Jersey deserves so much better,” said Antoinette Miles, State Director of the New Jersey Working Families Party. “If Tom Kean would rather play the stock market than represent his district, he shouldn’t be in office. We’re making sure voters across the district send him home on November 3rd.”

“Tom Kean’s stock is tanking all over his district, and he has no one to blame but himself. While he used his position to get rich, he voted to cut our health care, backed Trump’s war in Iran, and stayed silent while ICE terrorized our communities,” said Nedia Morsy, Director of Make the Road Action New Jersey. “Voters are ready to cut their losses and send Tom Kean packing.”

The independent expenditure is funded by the Working Families Party PAC and Make the Road Action Political Committee.

The general election is on November 3, 2026.
