New Jersey Assembly Respects Senator McCain with a Moment of Silence

TRENTON – Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick (R-21) rose on a point of personal privilege this morning and requested a moment of silence for the late U.S. Senator John McCain.

“John McCain was not only someone who fought for this country and served in the United States Senate, but he set an example for all of us… to work across the aisle,” Bramnick said.

“This is the example we need in these polarized times,” he added, before Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-19) granted a moment of silence for the late U.S. Senator from Arizona.

The Senate also honored Senator McCain with a moment of silence.
