REST IN PEACE, GLORIA STEINEM

Since the 1960s, Gloria Steinem was the face of the feminist movement.
She was a force of nature.
She was the defying face of the feminist movement in response to the misogynists who tried to embarrass women from standing up for themselves by accusing feminists of being ugly old hags that could not attract a man - - - to that Gloria Steinam stood in her glory and essentially said, “screw you”.

She was unflappably brilliant and present.

When Roe was overturned, I quoted her as saying, “the point was never about what we chose, the point was that we had the power to make a choice.”

And her work encompassed all types of racism and misogyny. She worked tirelessly for decades for so many that had no voice. . . and she did so, if you will excuse my saying so, GLORIOUSLY.

Thank you Gloria Steinem for doing so much for so long. You will be missed.
You deserve to rest. RIP Gloria. There will never be another you.
