More than 800 Emergency National Protests Planned If Trump Fires Mueller

More than 800 Emergency National Protests Planned
If Trump Fires Mueller

Our nation could be facing a constitutional crisis

As the nation watches to see if President Trump fires Special Counsel Robert Mueller, activists across the country are gearing up for an immediate nationwide response. At present, over 300,000 people nationwide have registered to rally at that time. And New Jersey is no exception. Local organizers have been working for some time making contingency plans for public protests in our state capital, Trenton. More than 800 people in the Mercer County area have signed up to rally at Trenton City Hall.

Here are the three Red Lines that will trigger our event:

  1.     Firing of Robert Mueller
  2.     Pardons of key witnesses
  3.     Other actions that would prevent the investigation from being conducted freely such as: Firing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, or repealing the regulations establishing the office.

If Mueller is fired before 2:00 PM Eastern Time, organized protests will ensue beginning at 5:00 p.m. local time. If he is fired after 2:00 PM Eastern Time, organized protests will ensue at 12 NOON local time on the following day.

WHAT:          “Nobody Is Above the Law” Rapid Response Rally
WHERE:       Trenton City Hall, 319 East State Street, Trenton NJ 08608
     HASHTAG:   #NotAboveTheLaw

In the event the Nobody Is Above the Law rally is triggered, a protest advisory will be sent to you on that day with additional details, including a detailed timeline of events regarding the Russian election interference investigation.

“To a person, the people of the United States are expected to abide by our laws,” says Cindi Sternfeld and the Rapid Response Rally co-hosts. “Our legal system ensures fair investigation when it appears that our laws have been broken. Last year, the firing of FBI head James Comey was the president’s first attempt to avoid legal scrutiny. In the wake of that firing, Special Counsel Robert Mueller was appointed to serve the public and investigate. Now, as our President seeks to use his power to once again avoid scrutiny, we are rallying together to make clear that NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW, not even the President of the United States.”
