92 Year-old Opal Lee Continues her Juneteenth Walk in Jersey City on 9.23.2019

Where: Walk Step off at Lincoln Park – Lincoln Statue JFK & Belmont Ave

Jersey City, NJ, the Jersey City Chapter National Juneteenth Observance Foundation will be hosting and
walking with 92 year-old Opal Lee for her Juneteenth Walk in conjunction with 400 th anniversary of
Slavery 1619-2019. She relaunched her 2016 grassroots walking campaign to bring awareness to the
need for Juneteenth to be a National Day of Observance. Please come join us on Monday, September
23, 2019 at Lincoln Park (JFK & Belmont Avenue), Jersey City, NJ 07304.
