We, the members of the 2021 ACDC Candidate Recruitment Committee, interviewed several enthusiastic individuals who submitted resumes for Atlantic County Commissioner. We are pleased to make the following recommendations:

Commissioner-at-Large: Celeste Fernandez

Commissioner District 2: Jelani Gandy

As someone who came within 0.3% of winning a Commissioner’s seat last fall, Ms. Fernandez has the experience, people skills, and work ethic to run and win this year. Mr. Gandy is an energetic, articulate, and charismatic young man from Linwood who worked on Amy Kennedy’s congressional campaign and worked as an intern in Assemblyman Mazzeo and Armato’s office.
