Andy Kim Announces Endorsement from League of Conservation Voters
MARLTON, NJ — Today, Andy Kim (NJ-03) announced he has been endorsed for reelection by the League of Conservation Voters.
“New Jerseyans know first hand the dangers of flooding. Rising tides and temperatures aren’t something we can ignore – it’s up to us to make the changes now to protect our environment and our infrastructure for future generations,” said Congressman Kim. “I’m proud to partner with the League of Conservation Voters to be a staunch advocate for bold action to address the climate crisis. Our kids deserve to inherit a safe, stable, well preserved planet and it’s on us to rise and meet this enormous responsibility.”
In a statement released February 10th, LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld said, “LCV Action Fund is all in to defend and expand the pro-environment majority in the House, and we are thrilled to support this diverse group of climate champions – representing states from across the country and key committees and caucuses across Congress – for election to the U.S. House. Voters across the country and political spectrum have made it clear: they want climate action and they want it now. LCV Action Fund is proud to support this slate of environmental champions who have each played a pivotal role in ensuring that transformational climate, clean energy, and jobs legislation passed the U.S. House this year and we know they will continue to fight for all communities until these investments are delivered. ”
Congressman Kim is proud to represent the community where he grew up. He continues to have a strong coalition of grassroots support that has been behind him since 2018 and helped him secure two historic victories. Without taking a dime of corporate PAC money, Congressman Kim’s campaign has raised more than $5 million this cycle through grassroots support. Prior to serving in Congress, Congressman Kim worked as a civilian advisor to four-star generals and at the Pentagon, and served under both Republican and Democratic Presidents. He now resides in Moorestown with his wife Kammy and two young sons.
