Assembly Aging and Senior Services Committee to Hold Hearing on StayNJ Proposal

(TRENTON) – The Assembly Aging and Senior Services Committee, led by Chairwoman Angela McKnight, is set to receive public input on the StayNJ senior property tax relief program on Thursday, June 8th.

“Supporting seniors, easing the tax burden, and making health care and prescription drugs more affordable are issues I have worked tirelessly on as the Chair of the Assembly Aging and Senior Services Committee. StayNJ accomplishes all of those goals,” said Chairwoman McKnight (D-Hudson). “I look forward to beginning the process of moving the bills through the legislature and hearing from people who want to be able to retire in New Jersey and stay with their families and loved ones.”

The hearing will begin at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 8th in Committee Room 15 of the State House Annex in Trenton. Audio will be live-streamed at https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/live-proceedings.
