Assemblyman Kennedy on Budget Vote

(TRENTON) – Assemblyman James Kennedy (D-Middlesex, Somerset, Union) released the following statement:

“The year’s budget bill has all of the right components in it without including the Horizon verbiage. It provides funding to underfunded districts, helps to expand preschools and special education programs, and allows for funding for prevention and research for the state’s top issues and concerns such as domestic violence and cancer.  Horizon should not be a part of the budget conversation when deciding on the right thing to do for all of New Jersey.”
