Parents and Kids are Focus of April 8 Talk on Money Matters, Financial Literacy featuring Goalsetter Mom and Daughter Duo
(TRENTON) – As part of National Financial Literacy Month, Assemblywoman Angela McKnight (D-Hudson) will partner with Cross River Bank to present “Money Mondays” every Monday in April. Each session is dedicated to a different area of personal finance such as saving, investing, utilizing financial technology, goal setting and more. The events are free to the public and aim to provide the community with the foundation to become more financially independent.
Parents and kids are the focus of Money Mondays on April 8, and the session will cover ways to make saving a fun, family affair. Presenters include the mom and daughter duo of Goalsetter–a mission-driven company whose goal is to get kids from all socio-economic backgrounds to save and learn key financial literacy concepts.
The session will be held from 6-7 pm at Bethune Center, 140 Martin Luther King Drive, Jersey City, New Jersey 07305. For more information, please call the district office of Assemblywoman Angela McKnight at 201-360-2502.
