Assemblywoman Shanique Speight is fired up for the 29th Legislative District

{Newark, New Jersey, 02/07/2018} – New Jersey Assemblywoman Shanique Speight hosted a grand opening of the District 29 Legislative Office on Tuesday February 6, 2018 at 59 Lincoln Park Avenue in Newark, New Jersey.

 

The event drew a crowd of 125 plus individuals not only from the City of Newark, but from surrounding municipalities, and counties. During the event, Assemblywoman Speight had the opportunity to speak with constituents, and lawmakers on issues affecting the 29th Legislative District. While the title may be new to her, Assemblywoman Speight has been fighting for the City of Newark during her time on the Newark School Board, Chair of the Central Ward Democratic Committee, and even as a regular citizen. She has always had a passion to help others to uplift her community.
