Atlantic County Democrats Plan Vigil for Sexual Assault and Harassment Survivors

Northfield Councilwoman Susan M. Korngut, Atlantic County Freeholders Ashley Bennett and Caren Fitzpatrick, and Reverend Dr. Thelma Witherspoon will honor survivors of sexual assault and harassment with a candlelight vigil at 7:00pm on Sunday, September 30 at the Law Office of Susan M. Korngut, 919 New Road, Northfield, NJ 08225.

Survivors will be invited to speak, share their stories, and join in solidarity with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. Dr. Witherspoon will deliver a prayer and offer words of comfort to all who attend.

“We support the survivors who have found the courage to speak out and we intend to do whatever we can to empower them. We stand in solidarity to remind them that they are not alone.” says Korngut, Bennett, and Fitzpatrick.
