Bergen County Clerk John S. Hogan Rolls out On-line Appointment Scheduling.

Bergen County Clerk John S. Hogan has announced that his office will roll out an
online appointment scheduling system for the first time ever.

Starting Monday, March 22 nd , the Clerk’s Office will allow individuals requiring the
services of Clerk’s Office to make online appointments for passport processing,
notary public swearing-in, trade name registration, photo card and other service
offered by the Clerk’s Office Counter Division.

The link to schedule is https://www.bergencountynjgov.org/passport and can be
found at the Clerk’s website www.bergencountyclerk.org under the ‘online
appointment’ tab.

“During the COVID-19 Pandemic, my priorities were keeping employees and the
public safe while still maintaining the operation,” said County Clerk Hogan.
Customers will receive a reminder email for their appointments, and will be
required to fill out pre-health screening questionnaires, provided in the email. It
must be filled out up to 24 hours prior to the appointment.

“This online scheduling system will reduce the in-person contact and still maintain
the high-level efficient service for our customers” Clerk Hogan added.
