Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco Endorsed by Over 100 Democratic Officials Across Bergen County 

PARAMUS – Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco has received the endorsement of 113 Democratic elected officials and party leaders from across Bergen County, demonstrating broad support for his record of common sense, hands-on leadership and record of delivering for Bergen County.

The coalition of supporters includes members of Congress, state legislators, county officials, mayors, council members, and party leaders representing every corner of the county.

“I’m proud to have the support of so many dedicated leaders across our communities because Bergen County is strongest when we all work together with a shared purpose – solving problems and moving Bergen County forward together as a team,” said Tedesco. “Together, we are united around a common vision, shared values, and a commitment to genuine collaboration – that’s how we continue the progress we’ve made, deliver the results our families deserve, and build an even stronger future for Bergen County.”

In their endorsement, supporters highlighted Tedesco’s dedication to building strong partnerships with local officials and his hardworking, hands-on approach reflecting a deep sense of responsibility to serving all residents of Bergen County. That approach, supporters say, is why Tedesco has had such success – strengthening education, infrastructure, and public safety, protecting taxpayers, and ensuring Bergen County remains one of the best places in New Jersey to live, work, and raise a family.

Tedesco has served as chief executive of New Jersey’s most populous county since 2015. A lifelong Bergen County resident, he previously served as the Mayor of Paramus and has been a volunteer firefighter for over 50 years.

Tedesco is the father of three adult children, Koren, James J. Tedesco IV, and Holly, and the proud grandfather of six grandchildren. He lives in Paramus with his partner Connie and their dog Bergen.
