Bhimani and Draeger Call on Bucco to Disclose Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

The Bhimani-Draeger campaign today called on Assemblyman Anthony Bucco to disclose the details about his role in his father’s well documented sexual harassment lawsuit, filed by a former aide who claimed that sexual activity was a prerequisite of employment for Senator Bucco.

“As recent events nationwide have rightfully highlighted, we should have a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassers and their enablers. Assemblyman Bucco’s law firm was paid $44,000 in taxpayer funds to mount a defense for his father that ultimately resulted in a secret settlement. We are therefore calling on Assemblyman Bucco to act with transparency and release the details of the settlement he engineered for his father. Time’s up. It’s long past time for the Bucco dynasty to be held accountable to taxpayers.”
