Brady PAC Endorses Mikie Sherrill for New Jersey Governor

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 17, 2025 — Today, Brady PAC, the political arm of the Brady Campaign, endorsed Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill in her bid to be New Jersey’s next governor. Sherrill, in her four terms in Congress, has distinguished herself as a committed gun violence prevention leader, including her work on legislation to expand access to safe storage of firearms.

Sherrill also has extensive experience in handling firearms from her career in the United States Navy, where she qualified as an expert shot. She understands the grave importance not only of promoting safe storage, but also of keeping assault style weapons off New Jersey’s streets. During her time in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, she learned first-hand the devastating impact of the proliferation of firearms into New Jersey’s communities from neighboring states with weak gun laws.
