Bramnick: Republicans will not support a tax-increasing budget

TRENTON, N.J. –  With thirty days to finalize a state budget for the fiscal year that begins July 1, Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick says tax increases are unacceptable.

“Let me be clear.  Assembly Republicans will not support any tax increases,” said Bramnick (R-Union).  “If we don’t stop raising taxes and start working toward lowering them we will continue to drive people and jobs from the state.”

Bramnick said that he is ready to sit down with Gov. Phil Murphy and the Democrats to take immediate action to balance the budget and help New Jersey live within its means.
