Hunterdon County, NJ (March 1, 2026) - Today, Brian Varela’s powerful grassroots support was on full display, leading to a runoff election at the Hunterdon County Convention. In a hard-fought final tally, Varela finished strong with 45% of the vote, demonstrating his competitive appeal and growing support across communities in NJ-7 in his bid to face off against Republican incumbent Rep. Tom Kean Jr. in November.
