Statement from CD2 Democratic primary candidate Brigid Harrison on the pro-Trump Super PAC ad buy in support of Rep. Jeff Van Drew:

I guess Jeff Van Drew named his price: $258,000. Remember, this money will be spent in Van Drew’s primary against rank and file loyal Republicans who were seeking their party’s nomination in order to oppose Van Drew well before he named his price. So Trump is supporting a 25 year Democrat who agreed with Nancy Pelosi 92 percent of the time over loyal Republicans. And so while Donald Trump can buy up career politicians, South Jersey itself isn’t for sale.
