BUCCO/BERGEN CAMPAIGN: ‘VETO PROOF’ MAJORITY TWEET CALLS BHIMANI’S BIPARTISAN CAPABILITIES INTO QUESTION
BOONTON, N.J. – In our fourth installment of “Tweet of the Week”, we highlight a tweet from Lisa Bhimani’s campaign account from her losing Senate bid in which a “veto proof” Democratic majority is called for in Trenton.
In the past three weeks, we’ve highlighted:
- Lisa Bhimani calling for violence on Republicans
- Darcy Draeger promoting a comparison of the President to Hitler
- Bhimani tweeting multiple obscenities regarding cooperating with Republicans
- Draeger and Bhimani protesting with a group giving the middle finger and heckling movers at Rodney Frelinghuysen’s office on his last day
“Another week, another example of why our opponents just aren’t right for the 25th district,” said Bucco campaign manager Rob Costello. “Bhimani and Draeger should just be honest about their support of Phil Murphy’s major tax hikes, Bernie Sanders-like spending and unchecked policies that have resulted in massive patronage scandals and extreme special interest giveaways that drive up costs on everyone else. Not to mention major cuts to 25th district school funding despite these massive spending increases.”
“Try as they might to run from their radical, disturbing past, we promise to hold them accountable for it. That’s exactly what the taxpayers of the 25th district deserve.”
