Calabrese Statement on Ongoing Budget Negotiations

(TRENTON) – Assemblyman Clinton Calabrese (D-Bergen/Passaic) issued the following statement on the ongoing budget negotiations:

“From the very beginning, our budget reflected at least 95% the governor’s priorities.

“We have repeatedly compromised, including on today’s offer to give him a millionaire’s tax and a reduction in the corporate tax rate.

“I applaud the Speaker for being a voice of reason in this process. I hope the Governor will consider supporting this budget compromise.”
