THE CHEMISTRY COUNCIL OF NEW JERSEY MOURNS THE PASSING OF SENATOR TONY BUCCO

Tuesday, September 17, 2019 – (Trenton, NJ) — “Senator Bucco has been a longtime friend and supporter of the business of chemistry in New Jersey, and he will be missed by many of us in the business community,” stated Dennis Hart, executive director of the Chemistry Council of New Jersey. “A business owner himself, Senator Bucco was a fierce advocate for New Jersey’s manufacturing sector and knew the importance of creating good paying jobs. He also brought to the legislative debate his first-hand experience that the burdens faced by manufacturers across the state of New Jersey.”

“In his long career as a legislator, Senator Bucco was thoughtful and compassionate and truly understood, how to get things done in Trenton,” said Hart. “He was often a voice of reason and fought passionately for issue he cared about.”

“On behalf of the Chemistry Council of New Jersey, our Board of Directors, and our member companies, we are keeping Senator Bucco’s family in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Senator Bucco, you will be missed,” concluded Hart.
