CIANJ RESPONDS TO ACTING STATE TREASURER ELIZABETH MUOIO’S BUDGET TESTIMONY

PARAMUS (April 11, 2018) – “It was disconcerting to hear Acting State Treasurer Elizabeth Muoio affirm the need to significantly raise taxes in her testimony before the Senate Budget Committee yesterday,” said CIANJ President Anthony Russo. “If the state continues to emphasize the need to raise taxes, businesses will be forced to relocate to other states where the tax burden will not cripple their ability to make a profit.”
