The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey opposes SCR43, the proposed constitutional amendment that would fundamentally change the way New Jersey’s legislative districts are drawn. Any change to the process the state uses to create its legislative districts should not be rushed through the Legislature. The mapping of legislative districts is the first step in making certain that the electoral process is equitable and fair for all New Jersey voters.
